How the house is run
Propane in a buried tank, a shared well, a septic tank and a 2020 furnace — the practical answers a buyer wants before they get as far as an inspection.
The propane tank
A 500-gallon propane tank, buried in the back yard. It runs the furnace, the water heater and both fireplaces.
Buried rather than sitting in the yard, and big enough to matter: when the power went out in Helene, that tank was a fuel supply that did not depend on anybody's delivery truck getting up the road. It is filled by Blossman Gas.

The annual county tax figure is not in the listing paperwork. Ask me and I'll get you the bill rather than an estimate.
The shared well, plainly
The water comes from a well shared with the adjoining house.
It is disclosed as an easement on the signed property disclosure, and it has been tested for quality, pressure and quantity — last tested in April 2024. A shared well is common here and works fine, but it is a thing to understand rather than discover, so it is on the page. Full detail is in the disclosures.
